Steve came onto our project at lock up after we experienced several problems with our new build. The previous construction manager, although a good guy, was in over his head with our project. The size and scope of the build was beyond his experience especially since we were installing a geothermal heating and cooling system. We were very lucky Steve agreed to come on board and complete our home.

The sub-trades that Steve works with completed each stage in a timely fashion and were within the budget they quoted. When unexpected costs were encountered, we were always notified immediately and different options and the associated costs were presented for us to consider. It was obvious that these trades respected Steve and did good work for his clients and wanted to work on future projects with him.

We were very happy with the workmanship and several friends that built their homes around the same time as us commented on how well our house was built compared to theirs.

Although Steve is knowledgeable and experienced, his best quality is his approach with clients. We never felt like he was talking down to us or impatient with our many questions because he understood that this was our first build and wanted to understand why things were being done the way they were.

He was fair and excellent to work with. I would recommend Steve and Trademark Holdings to anyone looking to build a new home or for a major renovation, but particularly if you are designing a luxury home.

Our home was designed to be as green as possible and in 2015 we tied for first place for “Vancouver’s Top Energuide Homes” (single family home category). This was announced in the Vancouver Sun, Globe & Mail and The Georgia Straight, April 22, 2016.
